Using multiple sources to deliver the same campaign diversifies the audience&#8217;s interaction with its content.<\/p>\n<h2>Best Integrated Marketing Campaigns<\/h2>\n<h3>1. Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Channels: <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Social Media, TV, Print, Email<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I always know it\u2018s fall when I see advertisements for Starbucks\u2019 Pumpkin Spice Latte everywhere, from television commercials to social media ads to TikToks and more.<\/p>\n<p>Starbucks has conducted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/life\/entertainthis\/2017\/09\/01\/starbucks-pumpkin-spice-latte-returns-hilarious-livestream\/625159001\/\">Facebook Lives<\/a> announcing the launch of its Pumpkin Spice Lattes and released <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uvdJzBekzC8\">cozy music streams on YouTube<\/a> promoting the drinks.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the company released Instagram videos showing pumpkin carvings in the shape of its signature PSL.<\/p>\n<div class=\"hs-embed-wrapper\" style=\"position: relative; Apple: Shot on iPhone<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Channels: <\/strong>YouTube, Television, Social Media<\/p>\n<p>Apple\u2018s &#8220;Shot on iPhone&#8221; campaign is one of my favorite examples of integrated marketing. The company finds new ways to show the quality of its phone\u2019s cameras and features. The campaign includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advertisements filmed entirely with an iPhone<\/li>\n<li>Music videos shot with iPhones<\/li>\n<li>Social media challenges asking iPhone users to share the best videos and photos they&#8217;ve shot with their iPhone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pro-Tip:<\/strong> Apple&#8217;s campaign calls for user-generated content from consumers, content creators, and artists who use its phones. Hyundai Elantra<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Channels: <\/strong>Spotify, Website<\/p>\n<p>A great example of an integrated marketing campaign comes from the 2021 Hyundai Elantra award-winning campaign.<\/p>\n<p>To increase brand awareness among the younger millennial demographic, Hyundai partnered with Spotify and musicians in LA, Miami, and NYC to give customers an insider&#8217;s guide of the city.<\/p>\n<p>The city guides were made available to audiences everywhere through Spotify podcasts, where drivers could follow along from place to place by listening to the podcast.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What We Like: <\/strong>These guides were audio, video, and even a microsite that housed itineraries and stop descriptions.<\/p>\n<p>As an associate marketing manager at HubSpot, I think this is a great campaign that utilizes the right channels for the audience that Hyundai is trying to reach.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>4. \u201cFatima,\u201d the movie<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Channels:<\/strong> Facebook Premiere, other social media channels<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, McKinney and Picturehouse teamed up to launch a new film, Fatima, the historical drama of the Virgin Mary\u2019s appearances to three children in F\u00e1tima, Portugal, over a hundred years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The companies developed social content to inspire, connect, and elevate the film\u2019s key themes. It was a social campaign that included more than 200 pieces of content, reaching 14 million people.<\/p>\n<p>But one month before the movie&#8217;s release, the world and Fatima were put on pause due to COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>To keep people interested and engaged for another four months, the companies created \u201cTogether In Spirit,\u201d a virtual pilgrimage transporting people to the Shrine at F\u00e1tima. The campaign videos got more than 27 million views.<\/p>\n<p>At a time when everyone was isolated, the goal of the broadcast was to provide a message of hope, and in the process, it became the best-performing Facebook Premiere event in motion picture history.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pro-Tip:<\/strong> In the event that something unexpected happens that could affect audience attendance, think about ways to bring the event to your audience via social media, 3D tours, and more.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>5. Victoria Monet&#8217;s \u201cAudience\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Channels:<\/strong> Instagram, Facebook, Billboards<\/p>\n<p>For the single, \u201cExperience,\u201d R&amp;B singers<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/victoriamonet\/\"> Victoria Monet<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.khalidofficial.com\/\"> Khalid<\/a> collaborated with Spotify for a release campaign. The campaign included online and in-person marketing tactics.<\/p>\n<p>In Canada, a billboard was created in Toronto, promoting the song&#8217;s Spotify release. REI, #RecreateResponsibly<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Channels:<\/strong> Website, Instagram<\/p>\n<p>Outdoor activity is at the core of REI&#8217;s products.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rei.com\/\"> REI<\/a> sells camping essentials, such as tents, clothes, and insulated containers. Posts<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rei.com\/blog\/news\/social-distancing-when-outdoors\"> like this one<\/a> offer ways to stay safe while traveling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What We Like:<\/strong> The hashtag has been used by<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NatlParkService\/status\/1262220214265090048?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet\"> The National Park Service<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/COParksWildlife\/status\/1282693790940225537?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet\"> Colorado Parks and Wildlife<\/a>, and<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Angeles_NF\/status\/1282736225325969409?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet\"> Los Angeles National Forest<\/a>, and brings awareness to large audiences.<\/p>\n<p>The partnerships and REI&#8217;s content share an educational message and an interactive component \u2014 making this campaign diverse and engaging.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>7. Melt Cosmetics, \u201cShe&#8217;s in Parties\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Channels: <\/strong>Website, Instagram, Facebook<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe&#8217;s in Parties\u201d is the name of an eyeshadow palette from Melt Cosmetics.<\/p>\n<p>Says staff writer Rebecca Riserbato, &#8220;The purple palette sparked a hashtag of the same name on Instagram. On the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.meltcosmetics.com\/products\/shes-in-parties-stack\"> landing page<\/a> for the collection, there&#8217;s a section dedicated to Instagram posts with the hashtag.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The campaign inspired a purple theme, which took over the company&#8217;s<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MeltCosmetics\"> Facebook<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/meltcosmetics\/\"> Instagram<\/a> accounts. Along with this social media content, influencers sent the palette and began to upload their reviews on<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IIT5xKwMoYs\"> YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For this launch, a variety of social tactics were used.
